Scarborough Care Home Forum

As part of the support and education package offered by the Care Homes Support Team of Saint Catherine’s Hospice, we hold regular Care Homes Forums each year.  These are targeted towards the managers and/or clinical leads and staff of nursing and residential homes in the areas of Scarborough, Filey, Whitby, Malton & Pickering. In addition a number of palliative/end of life care professionals also attend.

Our forums are interactive. Suggestions for future topics are always welcomed and we have had some very interesting speakers following suggestions made by attendees. Agenda items include: clinical updates/alerts, education, future education opportunities, information sharing, etc. It is increasingly being seen as an excellent networking opportunity and continues to grow. We endeavour to have several speakers at each Forum on a variety of subjects.
