The programme is grounded in the reality of social care delivery and has been developed in partnership with registered managers familiar with the day-to-day challenges of leading a care team. It is made up of a series of practical workshops designed to enable leaders to deliver care in line with the expectations of a ‘Well-led’ service.

West Yorkshire and Harrogate Excellence Centre – For Harrogate Providers only.
Are you a care provider in the Harrogate District? If so you may be interested in knowing that WYHEC have released their prospectus for the forthcoming year.
West Yorkshire and Harrogate Excellence Centre
The West Yorkshire and Harrogate Excellence Centre has obtained funding to provide training to health and social care organisations in West Yorkshire and Harrogate.
The majority of the subjects on offer will be delivered through bite size training and reflect local priority areas as identified by employer stakeholders whilst aiming to support workforce development. Most of the training is aimed at staff in support roles, although a couple of interventions will enable organisations to build capacity and so will be appropriate for supervisors and registered staff.
The intention is to have some training available in all localities across West Yorkshire and Harrogate. We are pleased to be able to offer the training free of charge to relevant staff in member organisations of the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Excellence Centre as a result of gaining no recurrent funding support from the Local Workforce Action Board.
In order to identify members and to be able to access the free training, the West Yorkshire and Harrogate Excellence Centre have introduced a no-cost member model. We hope that you will on behalf of colleagues in your organisation consider signing up to the attached agreement document which outlines the expectations of members and benefits.
The WYHEC team look forward to receipt of your signed Member Agreement and look forward to on-going collaborative working with you.
Please send your completed agreements to the WYHEC email address firstname.lastname@example.org
