 Could you offer your time and expertise to support an aspiring leader in the social care sector?

Are you working in a senior role within the social care sector and would benefit from the support of a mentor?

CAWD have recently been successful in securing Workforce Development Innovation Funding from Skills for Care to support leadership development.

CAWD have developed and are currently able to offer a fully funded mentoring programme for social care managers and aspiring managers from across York and North Yorkshire. This exciting new programme will support the social care leaders and managers of the future.


We are looking for successful, inspiring and entrepreneurial individuals to become mentors. Successful applicants will receive full training in becoming a mentor and will be matched to one or two mentees, and provide a minimum of 3 mentoring sessions per mentee.

We are looking for aspiring managers, managers or other senior personnel from across social care who are passionate about their role and organisation and need support with implementing and driving improvements within their organisation, or who wish to progress further within their Health & Social Care Career.
