About Us...

The Care Alliance for Workforce Development (CAWD) was formed in 2009 as one of the Skills for Care sub-regional partnerships.  The vision was that CAWD would develop relationships and networks with a broad base of employers and training providers in social care in the sub region. Through these networks it was envisaged that local issues for social care could both be identified and addressed.
